IEHP listed as Fortunes Best Workplace in Health Care for the Fourth Year in a Row

SAN BERNADINO, CA - Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), one of the largest not-for-profit Medicare-Medicaid health plans in America serving 1.5 million, once again has been named Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare list. The announcement was made on September 11, 2025, making it the fourth time in a row and placing IEHP No. 28 on the list. This title comes from a survey where more than 3,600 IEHP employees participated. 88% said they agree that IEHP is a great place to work with 95% saying the workplace is safe and inclusive.

Leaders at IEHP say that the organization’s mission-driven culture and its employees are the reason for this recognition. “It’s an incredible honor to once again be recognized for our organization’s mission-driven work and highly engaged team culture,” said CEO Jarrod McNaughton. Chief Police Officer Supriya gave a similar kudos, “This recognition is truly a reflection of our team members and the heart they bring to IEHP every day.” Both sharing their excitement for this national recognition.

The survey that was distributed to the IEHP employees contained 14 demographic questions and 60 statements along with open-ended questions that employees would have to simply agree or disagree with each statement. The surveys measure the level of trust that an employee has within their organizations and test how consistent their trust is. The surveys are assessed on a five-point scale the reveals the most common experiences employees face in the organization.
